WHISTLER ACCOMMODATION
How do you decide where to stay
in Whistler Resort? Well you can call us toll
free at 1.888.793.9222 and we will guide you
through our proven ski vacation planning process.
Or you can create and book an online reservation.
Below are some things to consider when choosing
your Whistler accommodation.
- Experience - You've been here before Hey, if you know what you want - great! We can make sure you're getting the best deal possible on the property you want. And we can take care of booking all the nitty gritty items like lift tickets, transfers, ski school and restaurant reservations. Put us to work!
- Travel Dates - Are your dates flexible? If you can
visit Whistler in Mid December, January, or
April you will have a much larger selection
of inventory to choose from. If you must travel
in peak seasons, like most of us, then price
and availability become more of an issue.
- Price - What is your budget?
Whistler has a full range of properties from
ultra deluxe resort hotels to moderate
condos or hotel rooms. A simple rule of thumb is
that the further away from the ski hill you
are, the more reasonable the price will be.
If you are absolutely fixated on a 'ski-in/ski-out
property you may want to consider the Creekside
area.
- Ski-in/ski-out and a private hot tub, please - Ok...here's
the deal. With very few exceptions, everyone
coming to Whistler wants a ski-in/ski-out
location with a private hot tub at a reasonable
price. C'mon, you know you fit this description!
If so, please see item number two in the list!
Can't change the fact that you're coming to
Whistler during your spring break? No problem!
But, please, please please, believe us when
we offer you Whistler accommodation suggestions. We
have access to 90% of the properties in resort.
But I digress. In Whistler, as in all ski
resorts, you get what you pay for. If you
would like a private hot tub, it is considered
a premium amenity and will cost a little more
than a property with a shared hot tub. Same
goes for a slope side location. We have lots of accommodations in Whistler to choose from. Just let us know how flexible your dates are, and we can generally find something for everyone.
- Kitchen required? - Do you want to cook, or at least
eat breakfast in? This is something you
must consider. Most properties offer a kitchenette
at least. If you want a full blown kitchen
or dining area you should consider staying
in a 'condo' style of accommodation. We have access to some great Whistler Condos as well.
- Sofa bed, yuck! Then again... - Sofa beds can accommodate
a couple quite nicely. Traveling in a group?
Draw straws. Whatever it takes, a sofa bed
can reduce the cost of an you accommodations
greatly! So, get over it...or not.
- My 'child' is furry. -
No worries. Most of us have been there. In
fact, Whistler is a fantastic place to bring
your dog! And some of the best properties
in town cater to them!
There are obviously a few more
things to keep in mind when choosing accommodations in Whistler. How much are you really going to use
your place? If your holiday is something
like; get up early for first tracks, ski
all day, hit the patio for apres, shower
and head our for a great meal, enjoy a couple
of beverages out on the town, crash, repeat...
well the pull out sofa bed may not be such
a bad idea after all!
