Hmm...this is a little different. Usually I write about the mountains, skiing, snow or something else crucial to the sport of skiing. But what about the most important aspect of skiing? The social one. Other than getting your boots off at the end of the day, isn't that first sip of your preferred beverage the sweetest part of your day?
You've earned it and it tastes good! Real good.

My personal favorite...well, I'd have to say for apres, is the GLC. Knowing the Reverend Mike Varrin may sway that a little. Yes, he is really a Reverend of something. If you see someone running around the bar like he knows EVERYONE its Mike. And he actually does know everyone. He is the real deal though. Good guy and good skier too!
When I kick back after an Extremely Canadian clinic Merlin's is tough to beat though!
Ya, as you know. It's a rough life in Whistler.
