Poutine in Whistler!
January 23, 2008
Peter Smart, Greg Dobbin and Ian Heaps enjoy a poutine in Whistler Village There are certain foods you associate with certain places. Haggis in Scotland, Butter Chicken in India, and Poutine in Canada - for example. For those of you who don't know what poutine is, don't despair! In a nutshell, or foil container, poutine starts with double fried french (Americans read Freedom) fries covered with cheese curds and slathered with gravy! Mmmmm! We also got some skiing in. The runs are amazing for cruising right now. We skied both Blackcomb and Whistler and almost 50,000 feet of vertical.
The new women's Olympic downhill run is going to be amazing! We ripped the middle section of the course yesterday and had an awesome time. The men's course is already a classic and we skied it from top to bottom.
